Getting around South Florida
Distances that look short
Most of the places guests want to reach sit on islands or across a bay, and each one is reached through a handful of bridges or causeways. A dinner a few miles away can take twenty minutes or an hour depending on the hour, the weather and the event, which is why the neighborhood you stay in shapes how the day is planned.
We build the schedule around those constraints: where the car can stop, which gate it uses, how long the return takes after midnight.
What changes from one area to the next
The same chauffeur-driven service looks different depending on where you are:
- Miami Beach: narrow streets, hotel drive-ups and busy causeways — the car waits for you instead of circling for parking.
- Star Island: one guarded gate, so names and times are shared with the residence in advance and the chauffeur arrives expected.
- Coconut Grove: marinas and a dense core of restaurants close to MIA, where the evening traffic is the real constraint.
- Fort Lauderdale: its own airport and cruise port to the north, linked to Miami by one long run that we time to the flight or the ship.
One contact across all of them
You do not need a different company for each neighborhood. One contact plans the arrival, the days and the departure, whichever areas the stay covers, and the same vetted partner stands behind every leg.
If you are staying somewhere not listed here, tell us the address: we cover the whole of Miami-Dade and Broward and can plan beyond them on request.
Arrivals and departures
Most guests land at Miami International (MIA), close to downtown and the bayfront neighborhoods, or at Fort Lauderdale (FLL) to the north. Private aviation uses the executive airports, and cruise passengers sail from PortMiami or Port Everglades. Each of them is a different run to the same address, so we plan the pick-up around the real arrival point and the real landing time.
