Privacy policy

What we collect when you contact us about Miami, who we pass it to, how long we keep it, and how you get it back or deleted.

Last updated: 11 October 2026

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is AUREARGENT, a French company with its registered office in Paris, France. SIRET: 106 042 450 00010. The legal form, share capital and other registration numbers are communicated on request.

  • Privacy contact: +1 (954) 998-8860 — or the contact page
  • Data protection officer: none appointed. Our processing does not fall within the cases where the GDPR requires one; privacy requests go to the address above.

Because our registered office is in the European Union, we apply the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to the personal data collected through this site, wherever you are located.

2. What we collect

  • Enquiry data — what you type into a contact or enquiry form: name, email address, phone number, dates, number of guests, and the content of your message.
  • WhatsApp messages — if you write to AUREARGENT’s WhatsApp number: your phone number, the name on your WhatsApp profile, and the date, time and text of your messages and of the replies sent from our back-office. For a photo, video, voice note, document, sticker or location, our back-office records only the kind of item you sent, never the file or its caption. The conversation itself also remains in the WhatsApp app of the phone that holds our number.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type and pages requested, kept in server logs for security and abuse prevention.
  • Anti-bot data — forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes a token and technical signals to tell a person from a script.
  • Your cookie choice — stored in a cookie named cookie_consent.

We do not ask for payment details on this site, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis

  • To answer your enquiry and introduce you to our local partner — steps taken at your request before a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in running our business (art. 6(1)(f)).
  • To answer your WhatsApp messages and keep a record of the conversation — steps taken at your request before a contract (art. 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in following up and in being able to show what was agreed (art. 6(1)(f)). Our team reads and answers your messages; we may send an automatic acknowledgement of receipt. No decision with legal or similarly significant effects is taken about you by automated means; a number that floods us with messages is blocked automatically, and our team can lift that block.
  • To keep the site available and secure — legitimate interest in preventing abuse, spam and fraud (art. 6(1)(f)).
  • To measure audience — only with your consent (art. 6(1)(a)), given through the cookie banner and withdrawable at any time.
  • To meet legal obligations — accounting and record-keeping duties (art. 6(1)(c)).

4. Who we share it with

Our local partner in Florida, who is identified to you by name before you commit. This is the core of how the service works: the partner contracts with you and invoices you directly, so your enquiry and contact details are passed to them in order to answer you and to prepare a quote. The partner is an independent controller for what it does with your data afterwards, under its own privacy policy.

We also use the following service providers, who process data on our instructions:

  • Supabase — database and file storage for site content and enquiries.
  • Railway — application hosting, including the connector that passes your WhatsApp messages to our back-office.
  • Resend — sending transactional and notification emails.
  • Cloudflare — network protection and the Turnstile anti-bot check.

WhatsApp. WhatsApp is provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited (in the European Region) or by WhatsApp LLC (elsewhere), companies of the Meta group, under their own terms and privacy policy; they do not act on our instructions. The WhatsApp button on this site opens a conversation either with AUREARGENT’s own WhatsApp number or with the number of our local partner, +1 (954) 998-8860: the number shown in WhatsApp tells you which one you are writing to. A conversation with the partner is covered by the partner’s own privacy policy. What you tell us on WhatsApp may be passed to our local partner in the same way as an enquiry made through a form, as described above. We do not send marketing messages on WhatsApp: we only reply to people who have written to us. To stop automatic messages, reply STOP.

Audience measurement and advertising. Only with your consent, this site uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion measurement (Google), and Clarity (Microsoft), the latter of which records how a visit unfolds — mouse movement, clicks and scrolling; text typed into form fields is masked. None of them loads before you accept in the cookie banner, and you can withdraw your consent at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.

Fonts are served from our own servers: displaying this site does not open a connection to a font provider. We do not sell your personal data. Measurement data reaches Google and Microsoft only as described above, and only with your consent.

5. International transfers

This site is about Florida, so answering you means transferring your data to the United States — to our local partner, and to service providers that operate there. Your enquiry itself is stored in the EUROPEAN UNION: our database and file storage sit in Supabase’s eu-central-1 region (Frankfurt, Germany). The application is hosted by Railway in the United States (US East), and Cloudflare serves the site from its worldwide network. Transfers outside the European Union rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and, where the provider is certified, on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. WhatsApp conversations are stored in the same European database; WhatsApp itself handles messages on its own infrastructure, including outside the European Union, under its own safeguards.

6. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: 24 months from your last contact with us.
  • Enquiries that lead to a booking: for the duration of the relationship, then for as long as accounting and tax law requires of the parties involved.
  • WhatsApp messages: each message is deleted from our back-office 3 years after it was sent or received, and your phone number and profile name 3 years after your last message, unless you ask us to erase them sooner. The copy kept in the WhatsApp app of our phone is deleted when you ask us to erase your conversation.
  • Reply STOP and we stop our automatic messages (START resumes them); our team can still reply. To object to any further use of your messages, write to us and we will block your number, which stops us recording its messages. For a number that replied STOP or is blocked, we keep the phone number, the profile name and that choice for as long as needed to respect it (a suppression list, GDPR art. 21); the earlier messages are deleted after the 3 years above. You can ask for complete erasure; we can then no longer guarantee that your objection is respected if you write to us again.
  • Server and security logs: 12 months.
  • Cookie consent choice: 6 months from your choice

7. Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies are used to serve the site and to remember your privacy choice. They do not require consent. Measurement cookies are loaded only after you accept; until you make a choice, nothing is loaded and the default is refusal.

  • cookie_consent — records whether you accepted or refused measurement. Kept 6 months. Set on .aureargent.com, so a single choice applies across our sites.
  • Measurement cookies (only if you accept): set by Google Analytics 4, Google Ads conversion measurement and Clarity — see section 4. Refused by default.

You can change your mind at any time by deleting the cookie_consent cookie in your browser, which brings the banner back.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting what was done before.

To exercise them, write to contact [at] aureargent.com. We answer within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority (CNIL, 3 Place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France) or with the authority of your country of residence.

For WhatsApp, write to us through the contact page with the phone number you used and we will find and erase the conversation from our back-office and from the phone that holds our WhatsApp number. Deleting a conversation on your own phone does not delete our copies, and WhatsApp keeps its own copies under its own policy.

If you are a resident of Florida or another US state with its own privacy statute, you may have additional rights under that statute. Write to us and we will honour them where they apply to our processing.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS with a strict content security policy. Access to the database is restricted and enquiry data is not published anywhere on the site. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your rights we notify you and the supervisory authority as required.

10. Changes

We update this policy when our providers, purposes or retention periods change. The date at the top of the page tells you which version applies.
